Q. What is the Million Pound Gallery? (also see here.)
A. The Million Pound Gallery is a place where any business, organization or individual can
place an image/logo to advertise their website. The advert once placed will remain on the
gallery permanently. As the Million Pound Gallery fills it will itself become a work of art.
The Million Pound Gallery is one single image and adverts placed on the gallery become part
of the image. There are 10,000 squares on the gallery (each 10x10 pixels), resulting in 1,000,000
pixels. This is the first 'UK only' site of its kind.
Q. Why Should I buy Space on your website?
A. Your advert will provide a link directly to your website and will remain permanently on the gallery.
Million Pound Gallery is guaranteed to stay online until October 31st 2010 (our aim is to make it online forever).
The Million Pound Gallery has already become a talking point and because of the original
concept people will watch the site with great interest. It has already attracted interest from
the media.
When Visitors arrive at the site they see the gallery image instantly. They will hover the mouse over
the images and a tooltip (description box) displays information about the adverts. Anything
which grabs their interest will result in them clicking and visiting the related website.
Try and not do it. It is very hard not to. When the gallery fills it will become a work of art
and will be of interest to any web surfer. The fact that the space on this site is exclusive to UK

Some even trying to emulate the original UK theme of the Million Pound Gallery. We have noticed some have even copied our text directly!
We are constantly being asked by other pixel site owners advice on how to make their site successful
like ours. This is not an advice service and we will not answer emails concerning this matter.
The only advice we could give you is buy space on the Million Pound Gallery.
Before buying space on the millionpoundgallery we recommend that you have a look at other
sites and make sure this is the site you would like to buy pixels on. We have worked hard to keep
this site a quality one with no banner advertising and approving only quality links.
Why have banner advertising on a pixel site? This is a sell out to pixel purchasers in our opinion.
Banner adverts will not happen on this site.
Pixels on this site have been selling at a steady rate and have picked up drastically since Christmas.

Q. How much does it cost?
Each square on the grid is 10x10 pixels and costs £25.
You can buy as many squares as are left available. Payment can be made easily and securely by PayPal.
£25 may sound expensive but when you think your advert is going to be around for 5 years guaranteed
and potentially viewed by millions of people, then it sounds very cheap as opposed to alternative
advertising methods. Lets face it, what can you buy for £25 these days that will last for 5 years.
See the visitor stats to see how many visitors to this site there have been and those
figures will increase dramatically as word about this site travels. It is a one off cost ie. there are no
recurring fees. It isnt an expensive way of getting your website noticed and our first customers are already
enjoying the benefit of extra traffic to their site.
Q. Do I have to pay VAT?
VAT is not currently being charged on pixel space on the Million Pound Gallery.
This situation may well change soon.
Q. Who can place an ad this site?
A. As long as you are not wishing to link to anything offensive you can claim your space now.
Q. What can I link?
A. You can place a link on your selected squares to your company website, community
Website, your blog etc.anything as long as it is to nothing offensive, or to a site that carries out unscrupulous activities.
We will vet all links before activating them on the Million Pound Gallery and we reserve the right to suspend links if we later
suspect or are informed that they are linking to such sites.
Q. How do I get my logo/image onto the Million Pound Gallery?
A. It is very easy to do.
1. click 'buy space'
2. Select where on the gallery you want your image to be placed by clicking the grid.
3. Upload your image (jpg,gif or png) by browsing to your computer to select an image (your image will be
automatically resized to your selected area) Think of an image that will capture the eye!
4. You will then be prompted to enter your website address and title (title is the text that will appear in
the tooltip box when a visitor hovers their mouse over your image).
5. Payment can be then made easily and securely by PayPal.
That is it....Five years(at least) advertising for your website taken care of with no recurring costs.
If you would prefer not to use the automated procedure, or you would like a transparent image,
then email us and we will do it for you.
Q. How can I make payment?
A. You can make payment through PayPal. You do not have to own a PayPal account to pay through PayPal. The service
now allows customers to pay using their credit/debit cards without actually having to have an account.
Immediately following the placement of your image on MillionPoundGallery.com you will be directed to the secure PayPal site
to make payment. You will there be presented with the choice of how you would like to pay.
Q.I have submitted my link, when will it appear on the Million Pound Gallery?
A. Your link and image will be activated and published on the Million Pound Gallery within 24hrs after payment has been received.
Following payment we will vet your link before publishing it on the gallery. You will receive a refund if we don`t approve your site.
Links to offensive sites or sites we feel are inappropriate will not be approved.
Q.Can I change my image or text AFTER my link has been submitted to the gallery?
A. Yes your image or description text can be changed at any time after they have been submitted to the gallery.
Changes can be made by email.
Changes will usually be implemented within 24 hours.
Q.I want to buy space for my website but my site isnt online yet?
A. We have been asked this question alot. You may purchase your space and it will be reserved until which time your site is ready or
back on line. Just follow the buy process through filling in your description, link url and image (which can all be changed before your
link is activated, so it doesnt matter if you dont have the url info or have decided on an image.) We have done this for several customers
already. This way you can reserve the space you want ensuring that nobody else can claim it. It is after all you who have discovered
this site and you should not be denied the opportunity to be part of it.
PLEASE NOTE Payment must still be received for reservations.
Q.I have submitted an enquiry. How long will it be before I get a reply?
A. We will usually try to respond to emails within 24 hours but things have started to get a bit hectic,
so please bear with us and we will get a reply to you as soon as we possibly can.
Please bear in mind that sales enquiries and existing customer queries will take preference.
